From a February 11, 2009 "lecture" at the Berkeley Energy & Resources Collaborative (BERC) in Berkeley, CA. Jones reveals that "Green Jobs" is a mere "slogan" under which "all the pro-democracy forces can gather for the next big assault" to "re-invent the economy". In other words, a Trojan horse for a Chavez-style re-making of America. Jones asserts that Republicans are "assholes" who have "completely discredited an entire economic model", and later mocks a woman's question with the answer "how's that Capitalism working for you?"

Keep in mind, this is not a staffer for MoveOn.org or the SEIU. this is not some crackpot activist, or an aide to Louis Farrakhan or Rev. Jeremiah Wright. This is a WHITE HOUSE OFFICIAL, in charge of the multi-billion dollar "Green Jobs" initiative. Jones is also the Founder of Color of Change, which is leading the boycott against Glenn Beck. Jones' position at the right hand of the President gives him the ability to put massive pressure on corporations to do as he wishes. Is that how Color of Change is able to get advertisers to withdraw from Beck's program? Beck has led a crusade to expose Van Jones' true agenda.
